Run. is a short film and graduation project by London College of Communication (LCC) Media Practice students who are using the crowdfunding site Kickstarter to find backers for the project.
Inspired stylistically by David Fincher’s ‘Seven,’ the story follows a mysterious boy who bursts into an internet café claiming he is being chased by a murderous foe. The help he’s offered is not what one would expect, and over the course of the film, the boy must decide whether the people that inhabit this internet café will help or hinder him in his quest for safety.
The team have produced a video describing the project, including filmmakers and artists who have inspired them and asked backers to become “micro producers” in return for copies of the film and credits depending on their pledge.
